A condemned warrior wakes in a dying world — and finds that the plague-ridden hand that should have killed him is the only thing capable of saving what remains. Ashen Hand is a cinematic linear action game where combat is fought through a living deck of cards, drawn from the abilities of fallen enemies and forged into strategy in real time.
Designed for Unreal Engine 5 from the ground up, every environment is hand-crafted to serve the story. Every mechanical decision is a narrative one. Every run through the dying kingdom is a question about who you're willing to become.
Core Features
Cards aren't a menu — they're drawn from fallen enemies in real time, forcing constant adaptation mid-fight rather than pre-battle deck planning.
A fully linear structure means every encounter, set piece, and story beat is hand-placed — no procedural filler, no padding.
A corrupted power source that is both weapon and curse — every ability draws a cost, tying mechanical risk directly to narrative stakes.
A custom Blueprint-only DeckSystem plugin powers all combat logic — built modular and reusable from the ground up.
